A subdued nose only grudgingly reveals the cool and airy red and dark currant

power and weight yet no heaviness as the acid/fruit balance is impeccable

Domaine William Fevre, Chablis Montee Tonnerre Size:12x750ml Tasted May 2013(from two . 5 ha parcels divided between Pied dAloup, Cte de Brchain and the rest from Chapelot). The cool and restrained nose is mostly comprised by notes of mineral reduction though there are background nuances of iodine, pear and white flowers in evidence. I very much like the power and intensity to the concentrated yet refined medium weight flavors that display evident minerality on the beautifully textured if slightly short finish that is ever so
