The first Moving Coat sample was made from a moving blanket the kind that keeps your furniture cozy and safe when moving house. It was a much adored Beaton garment during the days of yore (when we produced ready to wear) and it includes welt pockets, hood, raglan sleeves, bias bound finishes, and has a front button closure. It is the perfect pattern to use that quilt
