Taupenot Merme, Morey Saint Denis Rouge Vintage:2020 Seems a tad rustic today(from Les Porroux, En Seuvrey and Les Crais). A slightly more deeply pitched nose is comprised by notes of plum, violet, cool earth and a hint of anise. Here too there is a relatively refined mouthfeel to the nicely vibrant and appealing textured medium bodied flavors that possess slightly better depth on the persistent finish. This is a very good Morey villages that is also fashioned in an understated style.
