Having lived in Central Oregon for many years and awaking to the spectacular views of the mountains there I can say with all my heart that painting them will never ever get old and I hope to have the honor many many more times to come

I painted this on Thanksgiving eve 2018 and spent the holiday with some good friends one of whom has an affinity for Leghorns so I named it after her

This is actually one bird that I took several photos of while he/she watched my every move
