Domaine Guillemot-Michel - 2023 Viré-Clessé ‘Quintaine’ Blanc region_Tasmania and a hint of crispHailing from Quintaine, Mcon, in the southern end of Burgundy is Domaine Guillemot Michel. Biodynamic since 1991, they're well established archetypes of Burgundian natural winemaking. A rich, fully ripe wine with honeyed, ginger tones from Botrytis (think Sauternes) prevalent to the area. Some winemakers shy away from the botrytis but Guillemot Michel instead lean in, and having made this wine for 41 years, they've mastered it.
