Free Air Temperature Indicator Type C-12 US Army Air Corps Weston 102134 Avro As the airspeed increasesHere is a WW2 vintage electrical Free Air Temperature Indicator, used to measure outside air from 45 to +45 degrees C, Type C 12. Embossed on the face (black on black) is AC USArmy (Air Corps), so it is pre March 1942 vintage. The C 12 indicator was used in a variety of WW2 aircraft, primarily trainers. This case of this indicator is not affixed, and can be easily removed to inspect the internal mechanism. The glass is loose and appears to need a new
