Venus Clam Brandy Glass touchable textureThe Venus Clam, created by Swedish artist Sa Jungnelius, is inspired by Sandro Botticellis famous 1480s painting The Birth of Venus, which depicts the Roman goddess Venus emerging on a clam shell after being born from the sea. Handmade at Kosta Glassworks in Sweden, the Venus Clam features a subtle pink colour, achieved by melting down glass combined with pigments obtained from a ceramic crucible.
