finishing incredibly long and packed to the gills with flavor

There is a nose of floral-based reduction which is what the French call “bourgeon de cassis”

Pierre Girardin, Montrachet Vintage:2020 The 2009 Caro Blend is(from Chassagne fruit). Moderately firm reduction overshadows the underlying fruit today. Otherwise there is outstanding volume and power to the more concentrated bigger bodied flavors that retain a lovely sense of refinement and particularly so on the massively persistent finish. As is sometimes the case with very young examples of Montrachet, this will need to add depth to merit the upper end of my projected range but given the extended cellaring
