The classic red and black plaid pants are a of heavy cut wool with slash pocket at the waist and besom pockets on the back. They have a button closure with suspender buttons around the waist. They have ribbed knit black cotton hems. Interior lining is made of genuine boat sail drill (a cotton fabric). They have an Amalgamated Workers of American union label dating the pants from 1962
