licorice-tinged finish and dusty tannins that bode well for the cellar

Relatively firm reduction renders the nose impossible to read at present

The organic 2018 Camartina is 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Sangiovese

Notes of smoky mineral reduction, lemon grass and acacia blossom precede highly energetic and more mineral driven if less concentrated and powerful middle weight flavors that possess a highly refined and sophisticated texture. The tightly wound, youthfully austere and bone dry finish is textbook Perrires and while it could use a bit more overall depth, the underlying material appears to be very promising.
