Handwound mandolin humbucker Z+ design armstrong-music Staggered ceramic magnetsA great option if you're looking to electrify your mandolin, this pickup uses the Z+ design which places a magnet not in direct contact with the poles but between 2 tall coils. This decrases the intensity of the inductance in the coils and produces a softer less sharp tone, which helped to maintain a lot of the acoustic characteristics of the instrument.
