The standard counter thickness of this style is 1 1 2" and comes with a durable polyurethane finish. Each butcher block countertop is handmade at our shop in Detroit using reclaimed maple carefully salvaged from Detroit houses and commercial buildings. The maple wood is extremely durable and exhibits beautiful lines, patterns, shades and
