The dimensions specify the sizes of a shape and locations of identifiable portions of a shape. The tolerances specify the allowable deviation of a product from its defined shape and dimensions. The representations of dimensions and tolerances provided by this part of ISO 10303 are appropriate for use with both 2D and 3D
