Cataldo Calabretta, Ciro, Rosso Calisco Superiore 2023 Amalfi A very elegant wineLight brick red colour even in youth which is typical of this variety. It is ethereal on the nose, the fruit initially hidden but once given time to breath a range of flavours emerge including leather, liquorice and dried prunes. On the palate tannin is present and well integrated and though the wine comes from a hot climate the body is not too full. With natural high acidity this is an elegant wine further enhanced by the salinity which characterises
