This remarkable intrinsic item has all of its parts (as far as I can see) and was probably used both as a wall or desk lamp due to the ability of the canister portion with lampshade to swivel 90 degrees from the base

In the early 1920's designer Harold Growcott joined the pottery and designed a range of hand-painted designs on porcelain
each decorated with the original of the JB10 & JB13 pattern
aside from which both items are in very good condition with no other visible damages

Duchess china manufactured bone china teaware for the mass market up until the 1990s and remained in the Finnery family until c. 1990 when it was bought by John Tams.
