the item is still in very good condition considering the age

The saucer is in very good vintage condition

Alfred John's uncle Robert Johnson bought the company for his son Stuart Johnson and it stayed in the Johnson family's hands until 1976 when it became Myott-Meakin before becoming part of the Churchill Group

Although this pattern (not the design) was discontinued by Alfred Meakin during the 1940s it was one of the patterns which became part of the Churchill Group in 1976.
