They are quick, loose hand studies for larger works that are slowly evolving into a body of work of their own. The cans exist somewhere between painting and sculpture. Their shape forces the artwork to wrap, distort, and interact with the object itself, turning the tool into the canvas. Using hidden magnets, Ive also developed a way for them to function as wall
