Cassini, Cassini Bordeaux Rouge 2020 Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe opening up to an almondCassini is based in St Emilion but trained in the Loire and ages this 100% Merlot in cement vats for 22 months. It is bottled unfined and unfiltered so vegan friendly. There's a nod to the Loire here with the leafiness and red berry crunch but ripe plum and graphite ground it in Bordeaux. Super value lunchtime claret.
