Siete Misterios Pechuga 48.5% 70cl 45.5 Caol Ila 2009 G&M SassicaiaThis is a rare release from Siete Misterios, created in small batches in Santiago Matatlan rather than the Sola de Vega region like most of their other mezcal. They triple distil their Pechuga in a copper still and include fruit, spices and a raw chicken breast before the third distillation to impart flavour to the final product. Tasting Note: Nose: strong wafts of smoke followed by gassy, herbaceous and vegetal notes. Palate: More smoke at the front
