Vintage 1940’s J&G Meakin Sky Blue Vegetable Tureen – Celeste Pattern Antique A pair of fine porcelainManufactured by J&G Meakin as part of the Glamour series during the 1940s this vintage lidded vegetable tureen is beautifully decorated in the Meakin Celeste range with sky blue colour highlighted by the presence of a scalloped rim with visible fluted surface along the verge as well as along the domed lid. This pattern design by J&G Meakin has long since been discontinued and is regarded today as a rare design. The tureen is stamped underneath Glamour
